Forte Design Systems is partnering with leading universities all over the
world to further the research into the next generation of Behavioral
Synthesis, Behavioral Design, and Electronic System Level Design. Forte's
University Program provides the opportunity for university students and
faculty to access the latest in Behavioral Synthesis technology in exchange
for technical information, papers, and the like. Forte recognizes that
university research adds a necessary dimension to the EDA and semiconductor
communities. Together in partnership we can continue to advance the design
of electronic chips and systems.
Forte's University Program is open to accredited universities around the
world. However, we will have a limited number of university partnerships
available each year. To qualify for a university partnership you must
provide a brief proposal of your project, your intended use of Forte's
Cynthesizer technology, and technical collateral describing your work in
detail.

university@ForteDS.com. Please make sure to include the following:
- Information about your university, yourself, and the responsible
faculty member (if applicable)
- Information about your project, application, timeframe, and your
intended use of Forte's Cynthesizer
- A description of your intended technical collateral to be available
during and after the project has completed
- A list of other products or tools that you are using or plan to use
with your project
Each quarter we will evaluate new proposals and select projects that we
believe will advance the knowledge in the areas of SystemC and Behavioral
Synthesis. Accepted proposals will be granted a license to use Forte's
Cynthesizer Behavioral Synthesis technology for an agreed-upon timeframe.
There will be a nominal fee for the program.
